Today we three freinds Sudipto, Nilom and I have made a bet.

Terms and conditions

1) Has to be a passionate French kiss to a girl or won't qualify to win.

2) Each one pays Rs 300/-

3) The bet ends on 20 July, 2010.

4) In case more than one wins, each one will rate his passion behind the kiss from 1 to 10, and the winner will be decided.

5) Every one will judge his own honesty.

Nilom set in words the above terms and conditions and I really appreciate his strength in these official works. After all his working for the last two years.

Nilom further wrote the folowing line ---

We can 4gt abt d bet & carry on ur life or " We can win it 4 ourselves ".

The terms and conditions we messaged by Nilom and I wrote back the following ---

"I will remain committed to the bet, although I donot know how great a chance I have to win it."

Today I attended the Delhi University M.Sc. Physics entrance exam. If I get selected I shall have to spend two years in Delhi. But that will be just the beginning. Delhi might become my workplace for the rest of my life. Delhi is a good place and I liked it. Tomorrow I shall leave for Guwahati, but I hope to be back soon in these very lanes which I have got a little familiarized with and also in this cafe where I am typing this post at present.

Be humble always. Keep on walking on the path of Jesus. Anger is something that u must to the greatest extent avoid. The battle that I am fighting, not me alone but also my friends, has really made me tired. I make resolutions but can hardly keep them. I am not finding the energy or the spirit to go on any further. It’s a tough way; loneliness disturbs and the day to day problems at home all makes me hard to concentrate. Wonder what the future holds…

Writing as it should be. As for me it is indeed very heartening to know that I have long since left being frustrated as I used to be. With nothing in my mind I have taken up to typing my thoughts. Nothing specific is in my mind that I can possibly share with you, my reader. Just I am typing down these words since the only desire of mine is to provide an outlet to my thoughts. These days I am putting a lot of effort to prepare for the exams. I wish to do well. But I can’t keep without writing. Writing should become my habit. I should write as I used to play my flute in my H.S. days or like I used to paint in my school days. Painting, taekwondo, and flute these have all passed away. New things have taken their place. Now as the creative effort I write. I have my pets to look after and I also have my kitchen garden and my aquarium to attend to. The field of physics and science in general is itself so broad that it consumes the maximum proportion of the 24 hours of a day. See u soon. Bye.

Exams are nearing. Exams bring with them anxiety, tension but though subconsciously they are also something that many look forward to. Exams are the transition phases in the life of a student. As one crosses this barrier a new stage in life awaits him/her. There are thoughts about the future where there would be new books, new teachers, new institute, and new place and of course new friends and may be a new girl friend/boyfriend. So hey friends, prepare well and enjoy the exams.

The primary task of my life is to study, teach and do research in Physics. That is what I shall be remembered for after my death. So I should strive to make as much contribution as is possible in these three areas. What shall remain after me is my contribution in these areas.

Don’t neglect these three fields as you have been sent to the world for doing these only. God and society wants you to concentrate and devote on these three fields as others are making their contribution in their chosen fields. The society will look up to you for your opinion and initiative for matters relating to these fields. You can’t disappoint them when they seek you.

Topics for my writing ---

Although I have decided to take up writing I had always been concerned about what to write about. But this morning it struck to me that being a student of science the topics (areas) that I would seriously consider to write upon are - science in general, mathematics, computers, environment, wildlife and spirituality.

I shall concentrate to write down in two languages -- English and Hindi. I am weak in writing in the Hindi Language. I have hardly ever tried to write in this language. So I shall have to take extra pains if I really have to work with the language.

Some of my interests --- I love to visit painting exhibitions whenever a chance comes my way. I love watching TV. On the TV I mostly watch serials, telefilms, documentaries and wildlife films. I take interest in news too. I love to read short stories. Although I buy short story books, but mostly I read them from the Hindi and English newspapers. I ocassionally read novels as I can't find so much time to devote on them. Also good novels are costly. I love to take long walks in the evenings and sometimes in the morning. Reccently I have started taking interest in kitchen gardening and I am also managing a small aquarium. As the grow up I hope to improve on these. After I start earning I can invest more money on them. It's so thrilling to eat the vegetables that you grow on your own in the little garden of your home. Oh, the radio is missed out. I am an avid radio listener. The radio just keeps on playing in the background as I study or work at home. Also you get a chance to become a member of a large community of radio listeners and it's really exciting.

Whenever tensed, bored or wishing to take a break I play Chess, Sudoku or Chinese Checkers on the computer. One day I wish to become a good Chess player (may be a GRAND MASTER, JUST JOKING....).
