Science in a LIGHT MOOD.

Although 'Science' is a serious business, I realise that not always need the theories and problems be approached with that seriousness. Many of the problems can be tackled and understood more easily by being simply in a light mood. Science indeed provides us the opportunities to be happy and take things with a light heart. 'Elation', 'excitement', 'satisfaction' .... what not is contained in the pursuit of Science?

This man Anjan is hard pressed for words about me. He is good atleast sometimes; I get much support from him. But sometimes he is so,........, what,... I just can't find words. He just annoys me unbearably and it gets on my nerves.

Happy Diwali

Dilemma for me always . Today is Diwali and I am sitting not alone but yet lonely at home. Outside it is dark and people are bursting crackers. Oh! this noise. This bang and boom. Good that I am not taking part in all these. Adding to the pollution of the already suffocating earth, what sort of enjoyment is this?
Oh! yes, I was talking about the certain dilemma of myself. Infact I always get trapped into it whenever it is the occassion of any festival. As a non believer of any supernatural God, I always get disturbed during the 'Pujas' as to in what way I am to take them when all around people are enjoying them.

What I feel about the Internet

The internet can be a great friend of anyone. But it can also lead to disaster. While surfing we are to be always cautious and alert and it tends to take away from us the innocent pleasure that we are supposed to feel.

Being famous and rivalry

If you are mast and consequently become known in your field is there and possibility of there arising rivalry out of it? Well be mast yaar. In this persent age of competition nobody has the time for the stupid rivalry of the bygone days. All are friends and just be good to all.

My opinion

Forests dwellers, indeed, should control India’s forests. How can we forget that while the Forest Conservation Movement has taken pace only recently, these forest dwellers have throughout the ages been the guardian of the forests? They have always lived in harmony with the forest ecosystem. Although at present, due to the impact of rapid industrialisation and the pressing daily necessities, they are sometimes forced to act against the interest of these precious forests. But if they are provided proper scientific training on earning their livelihood through the use of the forest products, while maintaining the ecological balance, they can be the better group of forest conservators than any other organisation.
